GCC Secretary-General Denounces Israeli Assault in Syria
Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, the Secretary-General of the GCC, has vehemently denounced an Israeli assault aimed at military infrastructure in southern Syria.
“This act of Israeli aggression not only targeted Syrian land but also jeopardizes the very foundations of security and stability throughout the entire region,” stated a press release.
His remarks followed a day after the Israeli military announced it had attacked infrastructure belonging to the Syrian government in retaliation for assaults on Druze civilians in Suwayda.

Iranian Individual Charged Over Alleged Attempt to Access UK Submarine Base
An Iranian individual and a Romanian woman have been charged following their alleged attempt to gain entry to a nuclear submarine base in Scotland, as reported by local law enforcement.
The two, aged 34 and 31, were apprehended on Thursday at HM Naval Base Clyde, which accommodates the United Kingdom’s fleet of nuclear-armed submarines.
British media outlets have referred to the pair as suspected Iranian spies.
Authorities indicated that they are scheduled to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on March 23.
These charges arise in the context of the UK intercepting Iranian missiles and drones in the Gulf region.
