Due to being nuclear powers, both the Nations pose what similar challenges to all the other actors on the world stage. This is absolutely not in the interest of peaceful people of the world specially Bangladesh . after 5th August 2024, the Geo political dynamics of Bangladesh Has the shifted towards more sovereign and more independent policy.
The Government of Professor Dr Yunus will perhaps be decisive with regards to it’s national security interest since it is already overburdened with almost 1 million Rohingya in its shore. It will never try to be part of any kind of unending or small wars. However, very recently the exercise of Bangladesh air force has also sent a message to the world that it is not sitting idle and professor Yunus is not going to tolerate any breach of international law. Wars, However Bring About negative changes but also positive ones. Even if these two Nations do not drag Bangladesh into their conflict, Bangladesh will have to take it’s security issues as the first and for most national policy. This government has always been considered anti- Indian, not with standing considering all the circumstances, Bangladesh has taken a positive rule to balance warmer relations with India as well. At this baby moment even the deadliest enemy of the interim will acknowledge the way it is diplomatically and strategically in a very significant on the world stage. Considering all the successful smart moves, the government will never try to fail itself.
Bangladesh, after all, has been undergoing numerous paradoxical incidents such as fighting corruption, doing justice for the July August Revolution victims, getting all this to learn money back home which was taken outside Bangladesh and Bangladesh suffered expensive amount of financial backlash. There is no doubt, entering government will forge better relations with Pakistan as the previous regime maintained relations with only India and now it is in the interest of Bangladesh to balance it’s foreign policy with all the actors equally no matter what happens on the world stage.
