A number of pertinent organizations in Iran, including the Parliament, are currently and urgently examining the matter of withdrawal from the NPT. It is reportedly becoming firmly established in Iran that there is no justification for remaining in the NPT.

According to the NPT, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is required to create conditions that ensure the protection and support of Iran’s access to peaceful nuclear technology and its associated equipment. However, when IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi implicitly encourages adversaries to utilize nuclear weapons against Iranian facilities, and the US-Israeli adversaries attack Iranian installations without any obstruction or condemnation from the IAEA, there remains no justification for Iran to continue its membership in the NPT.

Withdrawing from the NPT does not imply a shift towards nuclear armament; instead, it aims to prevent the ongoing surveillance by the United States and the Israeli regime under the pretense of IAEA inspections.
