Recently, a new member recruitment and renewal program was held by the district branch of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in Jhalokati.

The program took place at the Fatema Convention Center in the city, organized by the district BNP.

The event was chaired by the district BNP’s convener, Advocate Syed Ali, and moderated by member secretary Advocate Md. Shahadat Hossain.

The keynote speaker was Masud Milan, former joint general secretary of the central youth wing.

Special guest Habibur Rahman Selim Reza, president of the New York South BNP and BNP nomination aspirant for the Jhalokati-1 seat, also spoke at the event.

At the beginning of his speech, he expressed deep condolences to the victims and injured of the Dhaka Uttara plane crash.

Selim Reza said, “We are soldiers of the ideology of Shaheed Zia, doing politics while cherishing his beliefs and spirit. He addressed one party, stating that although you received our support before August 5, you are now denying BNP’s contributions. Instead of making grand statements, come to the elections, and the results will show where everyone stands.”

He further stated, “The interim government should organize elections quickly, as demanded by the people of the country. We are ready. InshAllah, we will soon meet in the victory procession.”

The event was also attended by district and upazila BNP leaders and activists.

This program showcased enthusiasm, excitement, and a united effort among party leaders and workers.
