TEHRAN (WSN24) – As per information obtained by WSN24, Iran has not altered its stance regarding participation in another round of negotiations mediated by Pakistan with the United States

While US President Donald Trump has stated that Vice President J.D. Vance and other members of the American negotiating team are en route to Pakistan, there has yet to be any alteration in Iran’s position regarding its participation in the discussions.

Iran’s involvement is contingent upon the satisfaction of specific preconditions.

In similar comments made yesterday, Trump indicated that the American negotiating team is heading to Islamabad.

Information obtained by WSN24’s correspondent suggests that the matter of the naval blockade poses a significant barrier to the negotiations, and this concern has been communicated to the Pakistani mediator, who mentioned today that he had addressed the issue with Trump.

Alongside the naval blockade, there have been unreasonable demands from the Americans noted in the exchanged communications, which do not present a clear outlook for any forthcoming negotiations.

Consequently, the Iranian delegation holds the view that as long as the US maintains an unrealistic perspective on the matter and approaches the negotiation table with the same misjudgments that resulted in its substantial defeat in the military domain, any negotiations would merely be a futile endeavor, and Iran would not engage with the US in this unproductive process.

Thus, until some fundamental barriers are eliminated and a clear path towards an agreement acceptable to Tehran is established, Iran perceives no justification for participating in the American proceedings.

Iran is also aware of the potential scenario suggested by certain media outlets regarding negotiations being a ruse and is prepared for military confrontation and to retaliate against the US once more.
